6th Annual Kimmie Horne Jazz Festival

Mark your calendars for the 6th annual Kimmie Horne Jazz Festival on Friday, August 12 from 6-10:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 13 from 3-10:30 p.m. The free, outdoor two-day event will feature the best in live music, food trucks, boutique vendors and a beer and wine tent as well as a classic car show and presentation of a lifetime achievement award to a legendary artist.

Kimmie Horne is an internationally renowned vocalist, performer and recording artist. A descendant of legendary songstress and actress Lena Horne and singer/songwriter Cleveland Horne of the Fantastic Four, Kimmie has left her musical mark around the world from Detroit to Tokyo. Kimmie launched the Kimmie Horne Jazz Festival in 2016 and has worked tirelessly to grow the festival each year, hoping to one day expand the festival internationally.

All Seasons Car Show - West Bloomfield

The car shows were such a hit with our seniors, we’re doing even more events this year! We are having classic car shows at each of our senior community centers this summer and hope you can join us in putting a smile on our senior's faces!

Saturday 20:

Corvette Clubs at M1 Concourse for Dream Cruise

Corvette Clubs are invited to the M1 Concourse in Pontiac as part of the Woodward Dream Cruise events. Two cars from each club attending will be invited to attend a parade around the loop in Pontiac. Corvette clubs are asked to contact the M1 Concourse via email to pre-register for the event. Click/Tap the Event Title to send them an email. The car shows were such a hit with our seniors, we’re doing even more events this year! We are having classic car shows at each of our senior community centers this summer and hope you can join us in putting a smile on our senior's faces!

Join Larry Courtney for the Corvette Day event located at the Automobile Hall of Fame in Dearborn. Larry plans to have designers and engineers from various Corvette generations to discuss the evolution of the Corvette and the Corvette culture. Corvettes on the Island

Join Larry Courtney for his annual Corvette on the Island. This event is held at Belle Isle in Detroit and is a salute and celebration of our military Veterans. An American Flag will be formed using Corvettes in honor of all of our Veterans. Larry is looking for 61 Red, 54 White, and 28 Blue Corvettes to make the flag. All donations will be given to Veteran’s Groups. A special display from the Detroit Grand Prix will be setup for this event. Food trucks will also be onsite for the event
